Example: If we get the early train, we will be there by lunch-time.

Example: If I had time, I would come to the party.
Some forms must be in the passive.

1. If I (earn) more money, I (go) to New York this summer.
2. If I (be) in the south of Europe now, I (lie) in the sun.

4. I (be pleased) if you (show) me the fotos you took in London last year.
5. What (you/do) if a millionaire (ask) you to marry you?
6. If people (not have) any TV sets at home, they (certainly/spend) more time on interesting things.

5. If he (not forget) to post the letter, the Radio Station (receive) it.
6. If more Germans (go) to the USA in the 18th and 19th century, German (perhaps/become)the most important language there.
