The Gaz Kilns
The
DAN kiln is used for firing Celadon-, Chun-, Oxblood-, Temmoku-, Teadust- and
many other types of glazes on porcelain
or stoneware bodies up to 1280C in a reduction atmosphere.
The
test kiln is used for quickly (in about 2 hours) firing test samples up to
1280C.The cooling sequence takes about 40
minutes by injecting compressed air.

Construction 99.99% completed. The kiln is of the type "Sevres", originally used to fire porcelain. |
The first firing. Up to 1000C only! Sh.....! The biggest frustration in my life. |
Second firing. Increased chimney by 3m. 1260C in 9 hours!!!! With less than 1m3 of wood. |
The Electric Kiln
26 years old WENGER kiln. Used for biscuit firing and crystal glazes production.
