Round 1
Setup: In every group of three players (except the incomplete Group 5), two games are played, against different opponents, once playing Commie, once playing Imperialist. A major victory scores 2 points, and a minor victory 1 point. From the most successful players of all Round 1 groups (5), all but the one with the lowest score (4) advance to Round 2 (to get an even number of players there). In case of a tie, the actual in-game point score is the tie-breaker. Players are hence encouraged to use a special password for their tournament games and submit it to the organizer.
Scenario: #10_04 Mission Impossible (#10_04_Bamberg.scn)
Optional Rules: Artillery Setup / Recon Spotting / Night Fatigue ON, all others OFF
Time: A month should be ample to complete a smallish 10-turn game, so February 15 is the deadline by which all game results have to be reported to the organizer. No tourney points are awarded to players in games still open or unreported on February 16.
Registration: All games can be registered with the club and count as battles, regardless of the side played.

Round 2
Setup: Each pair of opponents (pairing determined by lot) plays one mirror match, i.e. the same game twice, once from each side. In case of a tie, the actual in-game point score is the tie-breaker. The two winners advance to round 3. Players are encouraged to use a special password for their tournament games and submit it to the organizer, or if they already have done so for round 1, to continue using that password.
Scenario: #15_02s Next Stop Aschaffenburg (#15_02s_Aschaffenburg.scn)
Optional Rules: Artillery Setup / Recon Spotting / Night Fatigue / Explicit Supply ON, all others OFF
Time: 25 turns, and a mirror match to boot, I think you should have ample time to complete this if we set the deadline to April 1. Afterall, you're all active players and will make this tournament a priority. However, I am prepared to discuss a prolongation, should it become necessary. Report completed games to the organizer.
Registration: All games can be registered with the club and count as battles, regardless of the side played.

Round 3
Setup: The two round 2 winners play a mirror match, i.e.
the same game twice, once from each side, to decide the winner of the tournament.
In case of a tie, the actual in-game point score is the tie-breaker. In the
not so unlikely case of a very close result, the organizer may decide that a
final, non-mirrored, 4th round game is played to decide the overall winner,
with the sides decided by lot.
Players are encouraged to use a special password for their tournament games
and submit it to the organizer, or if
they already have done so for round 1 or 2, to continue using that password.
Scenario: #18_01s Showdown on the Main (#18_01s_Frankfurt.scn)
Optional Rules: Artillery Setup / Recon Spotting / Night Fatigue / Explicit Supply ON, all others OFF
Time: Whenever you're ready, you're ready. Nobody else is waiting for you. Report completed games to the organizer.
Registration: Both games can be registered with the club and count as battles, regardless of the side played.
